Our Services

PMEL services

We provide program management, cordination and MEL services to various kinds and sizes of development projects.

Environmental Conservation

We rise, sell and distribute high quality value tree seedlings such as cashew nuts, calandria, shear
nut, macadamia among others.

We encourage Argo forestry and provide economic incentives to conservation of high value but
endangered tree species such as shear nut tree/ shear butter tree.

Business Support

We provide business development services such as writing business proposals, providing marketing
linkages and input linkages.

Shea Butter value chain development

We buy shea and process nuts (into shea butter)  from organised community/ women groups and from other people or farmers.

We train people in various aspects of shear butter value chain e.g grading of shear nuts, storage,
cold press and hot press processing.

We sell natural cold press shear butter; hot press shear butter can be produced on customer or client request.

We also rise and sell shear nut tree seedlings.

We encourage bee keeping in shear tree growing areas for sustainable biodiversity conservation.

All these activities are aimed at the conservation and sustainable utilization of highly valued and
endangered shear tree.

Cashew Nut value chain development

We rise and sell high value cashew nuts seedlings which nature in 3 years.
We guarantee market for all cashew nuts harvested from our supplied seedlings.
Cashewnut can be intercropped with many low growing crops such as soya, g,nuts, simsim, beans, hibiscus, green grams, etc hence increased return  from the same piece of land. With good management, cashewnut can be harvested for over 50 years; moreover with very
low production costs.
We are in partnership with AWAY4AFRICA, DUTCH business Enterprise that specializes in Cashew nut
Value chain.
Through our Cashew Nut demonstration garden in Lira.
We encourage and promote integration of Cashew Nut growing with bee keeping to increase bee
forage and to diversify farmer income and contribute to sustainable biodiversity conservation and minimise the effects of global warming.
We process Cashew fruit juice which is very rich in Vitamin C.

We also encourage Cashew nut growing and consumption because it’s a very good alternative to
animal protein.

Enterprise Development training

We carry out various value chain development training e.g., cashew nut value chain, shear butter
value chain, rabbit rearing for income diversification.

We train on how to use rabbit urine as a
pesticide for the promotion of organic agriculture. Rabbit rearing also takes very
little space, hence can be easily done by youth/women, etc. Rabbit meat is low
cholesterol white meat with good market demand too.

Hibiscus value chain development

We buy dry hibiscus from out growers. We supply and sell high quality hibiscus seeds/planting seeds
to interested out growers and guarantee market for such harvest.

We sell dry hibiscus to interested buyers e.g., those who make juices and other drinks.

Chia value chain development

We promote the growing the growing of Chia mainly as bee forage.

We encourage bee keepers to take up Chia growing to diversify bee forage and their income.

Chia is also good as a health product.
