Agency For Local Community Development(ALCODE)

ALCODE is a company Limited by guarantee, registration
number 38733, that works to build capacity of and provide facilitation to women,
men and youth of the region to engage in sustainable socioeconomic activities.
Most of the beneficiaries are illiterate or semi illiterate and may be victims one
or more forms of social injustice or missed opportunities such as missed formal
education etc. In line with the needs of the beneficiaries, ALCODE supports
Environmental, Livelihood, Health, Education, and business development and
rehabilitation projects. For sustainable projects implementation, ALCODE
ensures capacity building, use of available local resources and gender
inclusiveness.

ALCODE also provides project /business design, programme management, PMEL support
services. It works in partnership with entities whose apirations are similar to
its own.

It has also collaborated with various organisations such as TUNADO,  Woord En Daad,  Away4Africa,  AgroLinks,  NECPA,  AFSERT,  TAF Assured Enterprise, among others.

ALCODE has 2 permanent staff and 3other staff and it  worksmainly with volunteeers, community straructures and part time workers every now and then, depending on the type and  time of project  impelementation.
